About this location

HUYEN TRAN CULTURAL CENTER - HISTORICAL AND SPIRITUAL HERITAGE AMONG THE NGU PHONG MOUNTAINS Huyen Tran Cultural Center is located at No. 151 Thien Thai Street, An Cuu Ward, Hue City (according to the new administrative division). Built to commemorate the 700th anniversary of Thuan Hoa - Phu Xuan - Thua Thien Hue (1306–2006), it is a spiritual and cultural space dedicated to Princess Huyen Tran and the Buddhist Emperor Tran Nhan Tong. Nestled at the foot of Ngu Phong Mountain, the center is surrounded by pine forests and mountainous landscapes. The complex includes the Temple of Princess Huyen Tran, the Temple of King Tran Nhan Tong, the stele house, and the Peace Bell Tower. The site is associated with the historical milestone of 1306, when Princess Huyen Tran married King Che Man, contributing to the expansion of Dai Viet's territory to the south. The combination of spiritual architecture and natural scenery creates a visually profound space, ideal for panoramic shots and close-ups of architectural details. With its distinctive historical, cultural, and landscape values, Huyen Tran Cultural Center is well-suited as a backdrop for historical documentaries, cultural documentaries, films about the Tran Dynasty, and cinematic works exploring themes of historical territorial expansion, beliefs, and Vietnamese spiritual life.
