About this location

TRINH'S ATTIC - A SPACE PRESERVING THE MUSICAL MEMORIES OF COMPOSER TRINH CONG SON IN HUE Trinh's Attic is located at Apartment Block 203, Nguyen Truong To Street, Thuan Hoa Ward, Hue City (according to the new administrative division). This space is deeply intertwined with the life and creative career of composer Trinh Cong Son, who lived in this attic during the 1960s–1970s. The location preserves numerous imprints of a specific era in Hue's music, culture, and artistic life. The space retains the characteristics of an old apartment block featuring a small room, staircase, and hallway reflecting classic urban architecture. Inside, it preserves personal memorabilia associated with the composer, such as a guitar, radio, photographs, and personal documents. The combination of a modest living space and artistic memorabilia creates a nostalgic visual aesthetic, ideal for close-up shots recreating lifestyles and the musical composition process. With its cultural value and distinct musical footprint, Trinh's Attic is well-suited as a backdrop for documentary portraits, artist biographies, musical documentaries, and productions exploring the lives of artists in Hue. The space can also serve scenes recreating memories, artistic activities, and Hue's urban life during the late 20th century. Information compiled by: PTIT Photo source: PTIT
