1. VIETNAM PAI – FILM PRODUCTION SUPPORT DATA INFRASTRUCTURE IN VIETNAM

PAI (Production Attraction Index) is an index evaluating the attractiveness and capacity of Vietnamese localities to support film production activities.

Based on the PAI Index, Vietnam PAI is built as a comprehensive data and production support platform in Vietnam, connecting filmmakers with locations, provincial authorities, and local resources; facilitating location scouting, pre-production planning, and production deployment.

PAI is a strategic initiative spearheaded by the Vietnam Film Development Association (VFDA), aiming to establish a unified data system on filming destinations and provincial production capacities, enhancing Vietnam's competitiveness in attracting domestic and international film projects.

Vietnam PAI is developed under the technical sponsorship of the Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT), adopting Big Data architecture, 3D/VR location mapping, automated translation, and Multilingual AI Assistants. These technologies streamline the organization, retrieval, exploitation, and accessibility of cinema data for domestic and global users.
