Phap Hoa Pagoda – A Buddhist filming location in Ho Chi Minh City This pagoda is a Northern Buddhist institution with a history dating back to the early 20th century. It currently serves as a religious site deeply integrated into the cultural life of the local area. Historical records indicate that the pagoda was founded, constructed, and underwent numerous renovations throughout its development. The location is distinguished by its Buddhist architecture, tiled roofs, collection of statues, and its position directly along the Nhieu Loc – Thi Nghe Canal. The canal-side location offers external camera angles that blend religious architecture with the urban landscape. The pagoda also hosts regular Buddhist activities, including the lantern-releasing ceremony during Vesak (Buddha's Birthday). With its Northern Buddhist architectural characteristics, spiritual atmosphere, and canal-side setting, this location is suitable for cultural and religious films, historical dramas, documentaries, social-psychological films, and scenes depicting Saigon's urban life.
