Minh Dang Quang Buddhist Institute – A large-scale Mendicant Buddhist architectural complex in Ho Chi Minh City. The institute was founded in 1968 by Most Venerable Giac Nhien, belonging to the Mendicant Buddhist sect. Since 2009, the site has undergone major renovations on a 37,490 m² plot, evolving into a large-scale Buddhist architectural complex. The highlights of the location are the Main Hall (Dai Giac Hall) and the system of four stupas arranged on four sides, creating a symmetrical architectural layout with a distinct visual identity. The complex also includes meditation halls, lecture halls, facilities for monastic study, a library, monks' quarters, and various garden spaces. The large-scale nature of the complex offers numerous camera angles, from wide panoramic shots and frontal views to interior scenes. With its characteristic Mendicant Buddhist architecture, large scale, and multi-layered spaces, this location is suitable for cultural and religious films, historical dramas, documentaries, social-psychological films, and scenes requiring monastic settings, rituals, or large-scale Buddhist architecture.
