Museum of Vietnamese History in Ho Chi Minh City - Heritage Architectural Setting The Museum of Vietnamese History in Ho Chi Minh City is located at 02 Nguyen Binh Khiem Street, Ben Nghe Ward, in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. Established in 1929 as the Blanchard de la Brosse Museum, it was recognized as a National Architectural and Artistic Monument in 2012. Regarding its historical, cultural, and cinematic value, the site features an architectural complex comprising an original Indochine-style building—blending Eastern and Western architectural elements—and an additional rear building. The structure is characterized by an octagonal tower, symmetrical layout, elevated foundation, thick walls, high ceilings, and clerestory windows. In terms of genre, the location is suitable for historical films, documentaries, art films, and works exploring Vietnamese heritage, culture, and history. On-site filming must be approved by the site management unit. Content Summary: PTIT Photo Source: PTIT
