About this location

Truong Luu Ancient Village - Ha Tinh's Triple UNESCO Heritage Village Truong Luu Ancient Village is located in Truong Luu Commune, Ha Tinh Province. With a history of over 600 years, the village proudly holds 3 UNESCO documentary heritages, featuring Phuc Giang woodblocks, ancestral clan houses, communal halls, and temples. TRUONG LUU ANCIENT VILLAGE – A 600-YEAR-OLD VILLAGE WITH 3 UNESCO HERITAGES Truong Luu Ancient Village is situated in Truong Luu Commune, Ha Tinh Province. The newly established Truong Luu Commune, under Resolution 1665/NQ-UBTVQH15 of 2025, encompasses the former communes of Kim Song Trường, Thuong Nga, and Phu Loc. Over 600 years old and formerly part of Kim Song Truong Commune, it is the only ancient village in Vietnam to be honored with 3 UNESCO-inscribed heritages. Locations offer backdrops featuring communal houses, temples, ancestral clan houses, ancient houses with red tile roofs, stone gates, stone walls, red brick courtyards, fields, gardens, greenery, and village paths. The village preserves 37 ancestral clan houses and 7 national-level heritage sites. It houses 383 woodblocks from the Truong Luu School and Phuc Giang Library, carved with inverted Chinese characters (Han script) to print Confucian textbooks, crafted between 1758 and 1788 at the Phuc Giang Library of the Nguyen Huy clan. The three UNESCO documentary heritages are the Phuc Giang School Woodblocks, the Royal Envoys' Journey to China (Hoang Hoa Su Trinh Do), and the Sino-Nom Documents of Truong Luu Village. The village also preserves folding screens (cuon thu), stone dragons, woodblocks, ancient books, wooden shelves, looms, and drums. The landscape is ideal for wide aerial drone shots of the ancient village nestled among fields and gardens, medium shots of communal houses and ancestral clan houses, and close-ups of woodblocks, ancient books, and folding screens. The landscape is well-suited for historical films, rural dramas, family films, heritage documentaries, educational films, road trip movies, and heritage tourism promotion videos.
