About this location

Bau Ca Cai – Mangrove Ecological Space Located in Binh Thuan Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai Province, Bau Ca Cai is a highly distinctive mangrove ecosystem. It is renowned for thousands of white-bark mangrove trees (Cọc trắng) planted in straight, orderly rows across a vast water surface, creating a pristine and majestic landscape. With its unique geometric surface structure and seasonal visual transformations—such as the autumn-winter leaf drop that exposes stark white branches—the location exudes a surreal, mystical ambiance. The open, unobstructed vistas provide ideal conditions for wide-angle aerial shots. Meanwhile, setting up cameras on traditional basket boats weaving through the tree rows is perfect for tracking shots that capture a sense of tranquility and isolation. Featuring a naturally sculptural ecological landscape, Bau Ca Cai is particularly suited for nature documentaries, survival films, art house movies, and music videos. Information compiled by: PTIT.
