About this location

Minh Duc Pagoda - A Buddhist architectural highlight on Thien Ma Mountain Minh Duc Pagoda is located on Thien Ma Mountain within the Thien Ma Spiritual and Cultural Zone, along the Tra Khuc River near the Cua Dai estuary in Quang Ngai Province. Administratively, the site is situated in Tịnh Khe Commune, Quang Ngai Province; previously, the pagoda area was associated with Tinh Long Commune and Tinh Khe Commune, Quang Ngai City. Commenced in 2018, the pagoda complex stands out for its large-scale Buddhist architecture, featuring a main hall of approximately 12,000 m² and a 125-meter-tall statue of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara. Its elevated mountain location offers sweeping views of the river, sea, and urban landscape, providing a visual advantage for panoramic shots, flycam footage (when permitted), and frames emphasizing the harmony between spiritual architecture and nature. Suitable for cultural-religious documentaries, tourism promotional films, reports, local promotional videos, spiritual-themed feature films, and visual projects exploring contemporary Buddhist architecture.
