Xuan Son National Park - Ancient forests, limestone mountains, and caves Xuan Son National Park is located in Phu Tho Province, at the end of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, serving as a gateway to the Northwest region. Established in 2002 and covering over 15,000 hectares, the park is notable for its primary limestone forest ecosystem, mountainous terrain, and natural cave system. The landscape of Xuan Son features an interplay of forests, limestone mountains, streams, waterfalls, and valleys. Three peaks—Voi, Ten, and Can—stand over 1,000 meters high, complemented by a system of caves filled with stalactites, creating layers of landscape with distinct natural contrast and depth. The primary forest environment, limestone terrain, and cave systems offer a wide range of camera angles, from panoramic mountain views to close-ups of rock formations, water flows, and vegetation. The presence of Muong and Dao communities, along with their traditional cultural activities, provides additional material for storytelling about highland life.
