About this location

Ben En National Park - An ecological landscape of Thanh Hoa province. Located in Nhu Thanh and Nhu Xuan districts, Thanh Hoa province, Ben En National Park was established in 1992 with the mission of conserving ecosystems and biodiversity. The park covers a natural area of over 16,500 hectares, including more than 8,500 hectares of primary forest. The landscape highlight is the 4,000-hectare Song Muc Lake, featuring 21 islands of various sizes, creating a harmonious space of forest, mountains, and water. The production value of Ben En lies in its diverse landscapes and ecosystems. The natural forest surrounding the lake, the green islands, and the vast water surface create multi-layered spaces suitable for filming. The area also boasts a rich flora and fauna, including many rare species listed in the Vietnam Red Data Book. The combination of forest, lake, and islands offers excellent opportunities for panoramic shots, water-based cinematography, and deep-focus nature scenes. This location is ideal for documentaries on nature and biodiversity, environmental films, and productions showcasing the mountainous and riverine landscapes of Vietnam. The Song Muc Lake area and its island system are also well-suited for scenes requiring expansive natural settings with minimal urban interference. Content summary: PTIT.
