Xuan Lam Village, Lam Son Commune, Thanh Hoa Province
About this location
Lam Kinh Historical Site - A space of history and architecture from the Le Dynasty. Located in Tho Xuan and Ngoc Lac districts, Thanh Hoa province, the Lam Kinh Historical Site was recognized as a Special National Monument in 2012. It is the homeland of Le Loi, the birthplace of the Lam Son uprising, and later became the royal mausoleum complex of the Later Le Dynasty. The complex currently includes a system of palaces, temples, tombs, stelae, the Dragon Courtyard, Bach Bridge, Ngoc River, and surrounding mountain, forest, and water landscapes. The contextual value of Lam Kinh lies in the combination of imperial architecture, mausoleum spaces, and natural scenery. The Main Palace, Thai Temple, Ceremonial Gate, Dragon Courtyard, and the system of stone stelae create a majestic architectural space, while the Ngoc River, lakes, forests, and structures harmonize with the open landscape. Many sections have been researched, preserved, and restored based on historical and archaeological data, facilitating the capture of frames that recreate the atmosphere of the Le Dynasty. This location is suitable for historical films, period dramas, documentaries, and projects exploring Vietnamese heritage, architecture, and culture. The combination of architectural structures, tombs, and natural landscapes offers numerous options for framing and camera angles for scenes that are historical, solemn, and visually profound.
