Da Pagoda (Chua Da)

Da Pagoda – A cultural landmark on the slopes of Tra Son Da Pagoda, formally known as Thach Dong Tu, is located in Chau Linh Village, Tung Anh Commune, Duc Tho District, Ha Tinh Province, according to local heritage records. The pagoda was recognized as a provincial-level historical and cultural site by the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee under Decision No. 732/QD-UBND dated February 28, 2015. Local records indicate the site has a history spanning over 600 years and was formerly known as Huyen Lam Tu. The pagoda is situated on a hillside adjacent to the foot of Tung Linh Mountain, part of the Tra Son range, creating a landscape complex that combines hilly terrain with traditional village cultural space. The current structure was reconstructed on the original foundation after the site was damaged and destroyed during the war. With its Buddhist characteristics, mountainous setting, and historical significance, Da Pagoda is suitable for location scouting for scenes involving religious life, local culture, and historical settings.
