Con Son Pagoda – A vestige of the Lam Son Uprising at the foot of Thien Nhan Mountain. Con Son Pagoda is located at the foot of Thien Nhan Mountain in Con Son Village, Son Tien Commune, Ha Tinh Province. The site was recognized as a provincial-level historical and cultural relic by the Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee in 2005. According to records from the Ha Tinh Museum, the pagoda was built in the 15th century and is part of the relic system belonging to the Do Gia base of the Lam Son Uprising. This area is associated with the activities of Le Loi's insurgent army and Nguyen Trai during the resistance against the Ming dynasty. The pagoda grounds cover approximately 6,548 m², surrounded by greenery, tea gardens, and hills. Conservation records note that the original architecture followed the 'Cong' (工) character layout, featuring a three-bay wooden structure with traditional tiled roofs. The site has since been renovated into a 'Nhi' (二) character layout, consisting of the upper and lower sanctuaries. The pagoda preserves a collection of Buddha statues, as well as statues of Nguyen Trai and Nguyen Thi Lo, creating a unique blend of Buddhist and local historical significance. With its mountainous terrain, lush greenery, and traditional architectural and worship spaces, Con Son Pagoda is a suitable location for historical films, cultural or religious documentaries, or productions recreating the Lam Son era. Film crews are required to conduct a site survey and coordinate with the relic management unit before filming, especially regarding the worship areas and artifacts. Content summary: PTIT
