Den Cong Communal House

Den Cong Communal House - A landmark of the Bach Dang victory along the historic river. Den Cong Communal House is located in Den Cong 2 area, Uong Bi Ward, Quang Ninh Province, and is part of the Special National Relic Complex of Bach Dang. The communal house is dedicated to the village tutelary god Dien Cong, including Tran Hung Dao and other deities legendarily credited with helping the Tran Dynasty achieve the Bach Dang victory in 1288. The site holds significant historical, cultural, and spiritual value characteristic of the land along the Bach Dang River. The communal house space features traditional village architecture, including worship structures, a courtyard, and greenery. The surrounding area retains its rural riverine landscape, featuring the Uong River, aquaculture ponds, and mangrove forests. Every year, the Den Cong Communal House festival is held with palanquin processions, rituals, and various folk games, creating a cultural space rich in visual material. From the communal house grounds, one can capture shots of the entrance gate, worship architecture, the courtyard, ritual objects, rural landscapes, and the surrounding river scenery.
