About this location

Cho Cui Temple - Quan Hoang Muoi Temple, Ha Tinh Cho Cui Temple is located in Nghi Xuan commune, Ha Tinh province. Dedicated to Quan Hoang Muoi, recognized as a National Historical and Cultural Relic in 1993, with its back against Mount Hong Linh and facing the Lam River. CHO CUI TEMPLE – THE TEMPLE OF QUAN HOANG MUOI BY THE LAM RIVER Cho Cui Temple, also known as Cui Temple or the Temple of Quan Hoang Muoi, is located in Nghi Xuan commune, Ha Tinh province. Nghi Xuan commune was newly established under Resolution 1665/NQ-UBTVQH15 in 2025 from Xuan An town and the communes of Xuan Giang, Xuan Hong, Xuan Vien, and Xuan Linh. The temple lies at the foot of Khu Doc mountain, backed by Mount Hong Linh and overlooking the Lam River. The setting preserves temple architecture built during the Later Le dynasty, featuring a 'Three-Entrance' (Tam) layout consisting of the triple gate (tam quan), lower hall, middle hall, and upper hall. The temple was recognized as a National Historical and Cultural Relic under Decision 57/QĐ-VH dated January 18, 1993. Curved roofs, horizontal lacquered boards (hoành phi), Chinese-character stone steles, the triple gate, and the landscape of Mount Hong Linh and the Lam River create a strong visual axis. Ideal for panoramic flycam shots of the temple by the Lam River, medium shots of the triple gate, and close-ups of the architecture, stone steles, best captured during early morning and late afternoon. This landscape is suitable for religious films, historical films, heritage documentaries, family dramas, spiritual tourism promotional films, and folk/spiritual music videos.
