Lung Cu Flag Tower – The symbol of the northernmost point of the Fatherland. Located in Lung Cu Commune, Ha Giang Province (Note: corrected from Tuyen Quang per geographical accuracy), the Lung Cu Flag Tower sits atop Dragon Mountain (Long Son), amidst a landscape where approximately 3/4 of the terrain consists of rock. From a distance, the flag tower stands out against the majestic mountains, resembling a tower reminiscent of the Hanoi Flag Tower. The Lung Cu area spans several villages and hamlets such as Lo Lo Chai, Seo Lung, Ta Gia Khau, Can Tang, Then Van, Then Pa, Si Man Khan, San Cho, and San Sa Phin, featuring over 16 km of border adjacent to China. The terrain is characterized by rocky mountains, deep valleys, terraced fields, and the Nho Que River, creating the iconic landscapes of the northernmost region. Lung Cu also preserves historical imprints associated with the Dong Son bronze drums and the legend of the great drum placed at the border during the Tay Son Dynasty.
