Noong Lake – A natural lake nestled in the mountains and forests of Tuyen Quang. Noong Lake is located in Phu Linh Commune, Tuyen Quang Province, within the northern mountainous region of the province. This is a natural lake formed from two wetlands, Pum Ang and Pum Yeu, comprising two areas: Noong Lake 1 and Noong Lake 2. According to local information, the lake's water source is connected to an underground cave system, creating a unique water landscape in the middle of the valley. The water surface of Noong Lake changes with the seasons. Many sources have recorded that the water surface area remains at approximately 36 hectares, potentially expanding to about 60 hectares during the flood season, creating different landscape appearances throughout the year. The lake's space combines water, mountainous terrain, and valleys, providing a natural setting suitable for filming scenes related to nature, local life, and mountainous landscapes. Film crews should be aware of traffic and weather conditions during the rainy season; in July 2026, the road passing through the Noong Lake area experienced landslides causing blockages.
