Hung Vuong Square – An iconic space of Bac Lieu culture Located in the heart of the provincial administrative center, Hung Vuong Square is one of the largest public works in the Mekong Delta, boasting a highly artistic design. It was inaugurated in 2014 with a total usable area of over 85,000m2. The entire square surface, spanning over 40,000m2, is paved with light and dark grey natural stone, creating geometric patterns that look stunning under flycam lenses. The most prominent artistic highlight is the stylized 'Dan Kim' (moon lute) monument, standing over 20 meters tall on a lotus pedestal, rising proudly as a symbol of the cradle of Southern 'Don Ca Tai Tu' music. Adjacent to it is a monument consisting of three interconnected blocks, symbolizing the enduring solidarity among the Kinh, Khmer, and Hoa ethnic groups living in the region. A solemn central flagpole over 20 meters high and a memorial for the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the 1968 Mau Than Offensive add monumental depth and historical significance. Suitable for large-scale modern urban scenes, musical films promoting traditional arts, historical documentaries, political dramas, or large-scale commercial productions.
