Hoa Lu Ancient Town
Hoa Lu Ward, Ninh Binh Province
About this location
Hoa Lu Ancient Town - Ancient Dai Viet Cultural Backdrop Hoa Lu Ancient Town is located at Ky Lan Lake area, Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh province. Inaugurated on January 27, 2022, the project was built to recreate the cultural space, architecture, and social life of Dai Viet in the 10th century. This is an architectural space reconstructed with historical inspiration, tied to the orientation of introducing the traditional cultural values of the ancient capital land of Hoa Lu. Inspired by the culture of the Dinh - Early Le dynasties, Hoa Lu Ancient Town features a system of tiled-roof houses, traditional stalls, handicraft products, and cultural living spaces. Its location beside Ky Lan Lake, combining the water surface, lanterns, and traditional architecture, creates multiple layers of visually valuable landscapes. The changing light between day and night also offers the capability to exploit diverse camera angles, from architectural panoramas to culturally rich close-up shots. With traditional architectural characteristics and spaces recreating Dai Viet life, the location is suitable for historical films, period television series requiring reconstructed backdrops, cultural documentaries, and heritage promotion works. For projects accurately recreating history, film crews need a design plan to supplement props, costumes, and control modern elements appearing in the frame.
