Mo Ga Stream

Mo Ga Stream - A Mysterious Cave in Thai Nguyen Mo Ga Stream is located at the foot of Phuong Hoang Mountain in Vo Nhai Commune, Thai Nguyen Province, approximately 45km from Thai Nguyen city center via National Highway 1B. The stream flows from a cave entrance 10–15m wide and 2–15m high, winding through rock crevices to form a 2m-high waterfall that cascades down to the Phu Thuong fields. The Phuong Hoang Cave - Mo Ga Stream complex is classified as a National Historical, Cultural, and Scenic Site. It is also a revolutionary site associated with the events of November 27, 1944, when the National Salvation Army 2 (Cuu Quoc Quan 2) and hundreds of local households in Vo Nhai established a resistance base against the French colonialists. Inside the cave lies a system of stalactites with diverse and strange shapes, clear underground pools, and numerous small waterfalls creating white foam—a dark, humid, and silent space that evokes a sense of mystery. Outside, Phuong Hoang Cave is situated halfway up the mountain and consists of three levels (Bat Cave, Light Cave, and Dark Cave), surrounded by dense primeval forest. With its verified multi-level cave system and authentic revolutionary historical value, this location is suitable for adventure and cave exploration films, resistance and revolutionary-themed films, and wildlife documentaries.
