About this location

Kon Jơ Dri Village - Ba Na Cultural Identity Along the Dak Bla River Kon Jơ Dri community tourism village is located along the Dak Bla River in Dak Ro Wa Commune, Quang Ngai Province. This is a long-standing settlement of the Ba Na ethnic community, well known for its riverside landscape, traditional stilt houses, and indigenous cultural life. In 2023, the village was officially recognized as a community tourism village by the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province. Kon Jơ Dri has a long history associated with residential customs, community activities, and traditional cultural values of the Ba Na people. The communal house (Nhà rông), stilt houses, water source spaces, gongs, xoang dances, brocade weaving, and traditional crafts provide distinctive visual materials. The riverside landscape, surrounding hilly terrain, and terraced fields also offer great potential for panoramic shots, tracking shots along village paths, and daily life footage. Suitable backgrounds for ethnographic documentaries, cultural-historical films, travel films, reports, local promotional videos, and feature films exploring Central Highlands community life.
