Go Ken Pagoda – An ancient temple blending Eastern and Western architecture. Go Ken Pagoda is a century-old temple, notable for its unique East-West architectural fusion and its historical significance linked to the founding of the Cao Dai religion. Officially known as Tu Lam Tu (or Thien Lam Tu), Go Ken Pagoda is one of the oldest and most visually significant temples in Tay Ninh. According to the Tay Ninh Provincial Department of Tourism, the pagoda is over 100 years old and stands as one of the earliest religious structures built in the province. Its architecture is distinguished by a blend of traditional Buddhist elements and Western influences, creating a look that sets it apart from many other ancient temples in Southern Vietnam. Notably, Go Ken holds immense historical value as the site where activities for the founding of the Cao Dai religion took place in 1926, before the center of the faith was moved to the Tay Ninh Holy See. Historical records of the Cao Dai faith document numerous ceremonies held at Tu Lam Tu during this period. Regarding filming potential, the pagoda features a triple gate (tam quan), a main sanctuary, courtyards, ponds, outdoor Buddha statues, lush greenery, and surrounding rice fields, offering diverse visual layers for film crews.
