Ba The Pagoda (Kal Po Pruk) – A 200-year-old Khmer ancient temple. Ba The Pagoda (Khmer name: Kal Po Pruk) is located on the slopes of Ba The Mountain with a 200-year history (founded in 1826). The pagoda is nestled amidst lush green forests on the mountainside, covering an area of over 2,500m2. It features characteristic Khmer architecture with three-tiered curved roofs, Naga serpent-headed spires, and moss-covered ancient stupas. A cinematic highlight is the towering Buddha statue standing halfway up the mountain behind the pagoda, emerging from the ancient forest canopy, evoking a sense of nostalgia and mystery. Highly suitable for historical reclamation dramas, adventure films exploring the Oc Eo heritage, Khmer cultural films, or archaeological documentaries. Information compiled by: PTIT.
