The temple is home to an ancient sandstone statue of the Lady of the Realm (Ba Chua Xu), dating back to the Champa era, which was brought down from the peak of Sam Mountain by a ritual performed by virgins in the 19th century. The Ba Chua Xu Temple Festival, held annually from the 23rd to the 27th of the fourth lunar month, has been inscribed by UNESCO on the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. From a cinematic perspective, the temple features a grand architectural style that harmoniously blends traditional Vietnamese and Khmer elements.
