Harry Potter' teaser reveals iconic scenes

The introductory video for the "Harry Potter" series chronicles the young wizard's first year at Hogwarts, featuring the Sorting Ceremony and his confrontation with Professor Snape.

In the teaser released on September 2nd, Harry Potter (Dominic McLaughlin) wears the Sorting Hat before being sorted into one of the four Hogwarts houses. The producers also incorporated familiar details from J.K. Rowling's "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," including the Quidditch pitch and the trio's first lessons. Professor Severus Snape (Paapa Essiedu) appears in several scenes, displaying his cold demeanor toward Harry.
The Hollywood Reporter noted that the visuals and special effects in the trailer have a cinematic scale, reminiscent of the film series previously released by Warner Bros. The video features a brighter color palette compared to the teaser released in March.
The first season of the series consists of eight episodes, following Harry Potter's life as he receives his Hogwarts acceptance letter and enters the wizarding world. There, Harry makes friends, embarks on adventures, uncovers the school's dark secrets, and faces the most dangerous dark wizard.
The series stars Dominic McLaughlin as Harry Potter, Arabella Stanton as Hermione Granger, and Alastair Stout as Ron Weasley. The cast also includes John Lithgow (Albus Dumbledore), Janet McTeer (Minerva McGonagall), Paapa Essiedu (Severus Snape), Nick Frost (Rubeus Hagrid), Rory Wilmot (Neville Longbottom), and Lox Pratt (Draco Malfoy).
The project is being developed by HBO on a large scale, adapting all seven of J.K. Rowling's novels into seven seasons. The series is written by Francesca Gardiner and directed by Mark Mylod, who also serves as executive producer. Filming is taking place at Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden in the UK.
To mark the 25th anniversary of the first film's release, the producers re-released "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone" (2001) in theaters worldwide, including Vietnam, at the end of August. The production team added 12 minutes of previously unreleased behind-the-scenes footage to enhance the experience for fans.
