On October 2nd, the animated film "The Naked World" released its first trailer. The film follows Koo, a bantam chicken who wanders into a modern industrial poultry farm, where the chickens believe they are being prepared to go to "Paradise."
"The Naked World" marks the first time director Nguyen Quang Dung has helmed a 3D animated feature. The project was developed from an idea the director has nurtured for 20 years, with collaboration and screenwriting by ToTo Chan and Kim.
The story focuses on Koo, a bantam chicken who accidentally wanders into a modern industrial chicken farm. There, Koo meets Moo and other chickens living in a highly organized environment. They are provided with food, exercise, body care, and must adhere to strict standards. They all believe that every activity taking place is in preparation for a place called "Paradise."
When Koo and his friends discover the truth behind the gates, the bantam chicken's journey begins to change. As a chicken who is "unlike any other," Koo seeks a way to escape the world he once thought was paradise. This journey presents Koo with choices regarding freedom, friendship, love, and destiny. A notable aspect of "The Naked World" lies in how the production team built an animated world based on cinematic thinking. The film utilizes modern technologies, including AI, to support the production process.

According to the crew, technology is used as a tool to serve creativity. Elements such as the story, character personalities, the cinematic world, emotions, and the film's language are still determined by the production team.
Through this, the film offers audiences a fresh, humorous, yet emotionally rich animated experience, while opening up a new approach for Vietnamese animation.
Nguyen Quang Dung was born in 1978. He has participated in the production of many prominent films such as "Kiss of the Death," "The Lady Assassin," "Sweet 20," "Blood Moon Party," "Dạ Cổ Hoài Lang," "Song of the South," and "Friend Zone"...
In September of this year, Nguyen Quang Dung returned with the feature film "The Successor," a remake of the Chinese box-office phenomenon of the same name. Released during the September 2nd holiday, the film had to compete with "Summer Vacation" and "Guardian Warriors: Mystery of the Dinh King's Tomb."
In its first days in theaters, the film's revenue was not very optimistic. However, its appeal gradually increased during its theatrical run. After about a month, the work left theaters with a revenue of nearly 60 billion VND.
