What happens to Van Dung in Karaoke Murder?

The feature film Karaoke Murder has just released its trailer and poster, revolving around the murder of Mrs. Thuy (Van Dung) during a trip to a mountainous region.

Karaoke Murder also marks Van Dung's return to the big screen. The actress draws attention with a steamy scene alongside Thanh Son, a bold image that differs from her familiar roles in the past.
This is the debut feature film for director Hoang Le, with Vo Thanh Hoa serving as creative director. The film features Van Dung, Dai Nghia, Tuyen Map, Thanh Son, Trinh Thao, Thien An, and others. The story revolves around a "healing" trip to a remote mountain taken by Mrs. Thuy, Mrs. Be (Tuyen Map), Mr. Chin (Tieu Bao Quoc), Mam (Quynh Ly), Nhi (Ta Lam), Truc (Thanh Son), Vy (Trinh Thao), along with Tam (Thien An) and Master Tue Giac (Dai Nghia).
Mrs. Thuy has a passionate love for singing, but her voice becomes an obsession for those around her. Mrs. Thuy's singing echoes persistently, day and night. The accumulated annoyance turns into resentment and finally erupts into tragedy. Mrs. Thuy is murdered with her throat slit and a microphone jammed into her mouth, turning the very object associated with her passion for singing into a chilling signature left by the perpetrator. Mrs. Thuy's death turns the "healing" trip upside down as everyone present at the scene becomes a suspect.

Tam begins to follow clues to find the person behind the case. Through testimonies and revealed details, the resentment toward Mrs. Thuy's singing is gradually mentioned as a cause directly related to the tragedy. The trailer also reveals relationships and hidden corners involving the characters. Truc and Vy have conflicts with Mrs. Thuy after a clip appears showing Mrs. Thuy being intimate with Truc.
Mam has a connection to Mrs. Thuy because his father was once reported for illegal sand mining. Meanwhile, Mrs. Be faces debts related to her son's medical treatment. Mr. Chin also provides ambiguous arguments that cause the investigation to reach a dead end.

Images of an altar in the middle of the forest, a Mountain God statue, an explosion on the mountain peak, and the mysterious appearance of Nhi add a spiritual and thrilling tone to the story. A representative for the production team stated that Karaoke Murder combines entertainment, detective elements, and a hint of horror. The cast was selected to suit the tone of each character, with the expectation that the audience will be surprised when the identity of the culprit is revealed.
