Gia Lai Province

Gia Lai Province - A Highland Land Intersecting with the Sea Gia Lai Province was established on June 12, 2025, through the merger of the former Gia Lai Province and Binh Dinh Province, in accordance with Resolution No. 202/2025/QH15 of the National Assembly. It is the second-largest province in the country by natural area (21,576.53 km²), with a population of over 3.5 million, and its administrative and political center is located in Quy Nhon City. Gia Lai possesses a rare and diverse topography: the West features the majestic Pleiku plateau with a cool climate, deeply connected to the Gong culture and the Jrai and Bahnar ethnic communities; the East features a long coastline with bays, rocky cliffs, and pristine beaches, along with numerous historical sites associated with the Champa Kingdom and the Tay Son movement. The combination of mountains, forests, the sea, and multi-layered cultural heritage makes Gia Lai a land with rich potential for use as a filming location for various film genres.
