Location rules

• Strictly prohibited content: disclosing state secrets, anti-state propaganda, distorting history, violating sovereignty, undermining national solidarity, and insulting prominent figures or national heroes. (Article 9, Cinema Law).
• Foreign film crews are strictly required to use film production services provided by a Vietnamese cinematic establishment.
• A permit from local authorities and a written contract/agreement with the property owner are mandatory for filming or setting up inside private heritage/ancient houses.
• Strictly prohibit motorized vehicles and heavy equipment trucks from crossing the 9-span ancient stone bridge and brick-paved village paths to prevent subsidence; vehicle parking/staging areas must be arranged outside the village gate.
• Absolute prohibition against using tape, driving nails, painting, or causing physical impact that alters or damages weathered mossy brick walls, village gates, and wooden structures of ancient buildings.
• Keep noise levels to a minimum, do not block pathways or disrupt the daily routines of local residents; commit to 100% clean-up of set design materials and waste, returning the location to its original state after filming.
