About this location
Tran Bien Temple of Literature – A Historical and Cultural Setting Tran Bien Temple of Literature is a national historical site, notable for its traditional architecture and the cultural and educational space of Dong Nai. Recognized as a national historical relic by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2016, Tran Bien Temple of Literature was first built in 1715, making it the earliest temple of literature established in the Southern region. The current structure has been restored on its original foundation, comprising worship and ceremonial zones, as well as exhibition and cultural activity spaces. The architecture reflects traditional styles, featuring components such as the Temple Gate, Khue Van Cac (Pavilion of Constellation), Bai Duong (Ceremonial Hall), stele houses, and a statue garden. The heritage space is closely linked to the historical, educational, cultural values, and the tradition of respecting teachers and morality in Dong Nai. Its architectural features, rituals, and worship spaces provide ideal conditions for filming historical, cultural, and traditional settings. Content Compilation: PTIT Photo Source: PTIT
