Tuong Long Tower - A millennial heritage cinematic backdrop in Hai Phong. Tuong Long Tower is situated atop Long Son Mountain, Do Son District, Hai Phong. Originally constructed in the 11th century during the reign of King Ly Thanh Tong, it serves as a significant relic of Buddhist architecture. Based on archaeological foundations, the tower was reconstructed in 2007 on a site spanning approximately 2,000 square meters. Completed after 10 years, it was dedicated to the 1,000th anniversary of Thang Long – Hanoi. The monument is part of the Do Son cultural and archaeological complex, blending harmoniously with the coastal landscape of Northern Vietnam. Regarding its cinematic value, Tuong Long Tower boasts a mountaintop location with panoramic views of the Do Son peninsula and the surrounding sea. The combination of Buddhist architecture, temple courtyards, hilly terrain, and lush vegetation creates multi-layered settings with visual depth. Natural lighting conditions shift significantly throughout the day, particularly at sunrise and sunset, offering rich cinematic visual effects. This location is ideal for historical dramas, period pieces, documentaries, and projects exploring Vietnamese cultural heritage. Information compiled by PTIT - Image source: PTIT
