Lang Van Parish Church - A Large-Scale Catholic Architectural Landmark Lang Van Parish Church is located in Lang Noi village, Gia Van commune, Ninh Bình province, under the Phat Diem Diocese. Established in 1885, the parish is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception. Construction of the new church began on January 14, 2015, and was inaugurated on December 8, 2025, becoming a prominent religious architectural highlight in the Northern Delta region. The church impresses visitors with its European Gothic architecture, pointed arch roof system, towering spires, and vast interior space. The structure is approximately 108 meters long and 43 meters wide, with the main bell tower reaching a height of about 127 meters. The campus spans roughly 14,200 square meters, creating an imposing architectural ensemble amidst the rural landscape of Ninh Binh. With its distinctive architecture and solemn religious space, the church is well-suited as a backdrop for cultural documentaries, films about Catholic life, architectural films, reports, and works exploring community and religious themes. Film crews must coordinate with the Parish Pastoral Council and the parish priest to obtain prior approval before filming, ensuring that liturgical activities are not disrupted.
