Tang Quai Pass - A route amidst the sea of clouds in the Northwest Tang Quai Pass is located on National Highway 279, within Muong Ang District, Dien Bien Province. It is a prominent mountain pass known for its high-altitude terrain and the characteristic landscapes of the Northwest region. The pass is situated at the border of Ang Nua and Ngoi Cay communes, approximately 5 km from the center of Muong Ang District. The road winds along the mountainside, offering vantage points to observe the Muong Khoe valley and the overlapping mountain ranges in the distance. Especially in the early morning, particularly from October to December, clouds often blanket the valley, creating a vast, deep, and ethereal atmosphere. From a visual perspective, the curves, mountainsides, road surface, and sea of clouds offer numerous camera angles, ranging from panoramic landscape shots to tracking shots following vehicle movement along the route. With its unique landscape characteristics and ability to create spatial depth, Tang Quai Pass is suitable as a setting for feature films, documentaries, travelogues, and works focused on exploration, mountain life, or the nature of the Northwest.
