Ho Chi Minh Square and President Ho Chi Minh Monument

Located in Vinh City, Nghe An Province, the Ho Chi Minh Square and President Ho Chi Minh Monument is a cultural and political landmark of significant ideological, artistic, and historical value. Construction began in 2000 and was completed in 2003. The center of the square features an 18-meter-tall monument of President Ho Chi Minh, fronted by a spacious plaza with grass plots, greenery, and a semi-circular courtyard. The expansive space, symmetrical layout, and open vistas are ideal for capturing panoramic shots, frontal camera angles, and scenes involving large numbers of actors or extras. The monument is positioned in front of a simulated Chung Mountain, which, combined with the greenery, lawns, and internal pathways, creates multiple layers of visual depth. This site is also a frequent venue for political activities, cultural events, and memorial ceremonies. Given its open space and symbolic value, the location is well-suited for documentaries, historical and social dramas, biographical films, promotional content, and large-scale event or ceremonial scenes.
