About this location

Dam Mountain (Dai Lam Son) Filming Location Dam Mountain (Dai Lam Son) is located in Nam Son Ward, Bac Ninh City, Bac Ninh Province. This is a famous spiritual scenic spot and historical relic of the Kinh Bac region, associated with the Dam Pagoda complex built during the reign of King Ly Nhan Tong in the 11th century. The location features a terraced stone embankment system hugging the steep mountain slopes alongside a monolithic carved twin-dragon stone pillar base from the Ly Dynasty. The ancient moss-covered architecture combined with panoramic open spaces overlooking the plains creates exceptional visual depth, optimized for wide aerial drone shots as well as nostalgic medium and close-up frames. This landscape-and-water topography and heritage architectural footprint make it particularly suitable as a background for historical dramas, period pieces, cultural documentaries, and traditional folk-style cinematic projects.
