About this location

Memorial House of Late General Secretary Truong Chinh, Hanh Thien Village The Memorial House of Late General Secretary Truong Chinh is located in Hanh Thien village, Xuan Hong commune, Ninh Binh province. This is the birthplace and childhood home of Comrade Truong Chinh, whose real name is Dang Xuan Khu, a revolutionary leader who made significant contributions to Vietnam's history. The original structure was the house of Doctor Dang Xuan Bảng, built in 1902. During the French resistance war, the house served as a printing facility for revolutionary documents, newspapers, and books, as well as a safe haven for Comrade Truong Chinh during his activities in his hometown. The architecture reflects the traditional style of the Northern Delta region, featuring a five-bay wooden house, tiled roof, brick courtyard, pond, and garden. The combination of family architectural space and historical archives provides suitable conditions for filming both traditional daily life settings and exhibition contents. With its historical and cultural value, the location is ideal for historical documentaries, biographical films about revolutionary figures, cultural reports, and traditional educational projects.
