About this location

Tan Hanh Pottery Village - Traditional Pottery Craft of Dong Nai Tan Hanh Ceramic Industrial Cluster, located in Bien Hoa Ward, Dong Nai Province, is the hub for Bien Hoa ceramic production facilities. Spanning over 32 hectares, the cluster comprises dozens of enterprises, with many facilities relocated from residential areas here to reorganize production and protect the environment. Bien Hoa pottery originated in the 17th century, developing along both banks of the Dong Nai River with a history of over 325 years. Traditional products include black pottery, white pottery, household goods, and decorative items. Artistic hallmarks are expressed through shaping techniques, patterns, and copper-blue crackle glazes. Infrastructure for the Tan Hanh cluster was invested starting in 2002, with major categories completed in 2016 and recognition as a traditional craft industry in 2019. Film crews must obtain approval from the cluster management unit and production facility owners prior to filming. Filming activities in workshops, crafting areas, and kilns must comply with regulations on labor safety, fire prevention and fighting, and must not disrupt production or affect machinery and products. The use of lighting equipment, smoke effects, and flycams must be inspected, approved, and executed in accordance with current regulations. Compiled information source: PTIT Photo source: Internet
