Dai Lai Lake – A lake and forest filming location near Hanoi Located in Phuc Yen City, approximately 40–50 km from Hanoi, Dai Lai Lake is a large-scale artificial reservoir constructed between 1959 and 1963 for irrigation and water regulation purposes. According to the Vinh Phuc Provincial Portal and local management authorities, the lake features a vast water surface surrounded by low hills and planted forests, creating a multi-layered landscape of water, vegetation, and semi-mountainous terrain. The cinematic value of Dai Lai Lake lies in its spatial diversity within a short radius: calm water surfaces with open vistas, small islands (notably Ngoc Island), stretches of pine forests and lakeside vegetation, as well as morning mist and sunset reflections on the water. This combination allows for the setup of various natural exterior scenes without the need for long-distance travel, ranging from quiet, romantic resort atmospheres to isolated, contemplative frames. Regarding production, Dai Lai Lake is suitable for psychological dramas, tourism and resort commercials, lifestyle TVCs, or visually rich transition shots.
