Khuon Than Lake

Khuon Than Lake - An eco-tourism destination nestled in nature. Located in Kien Lao Commune, Bac Giang Province, Khuon Than Lake is an ecological landscape integrated with water bodies, forests, and hills in the Luc Ngan region. According to information from the Bac Giang provincial tourism authority prior to administrative restructuring, the lake covers approximately 240 hectares and features five small islands. The surrounding area is characterized by pine, cajeput, and acacia forests, as well as orchards. Regarding its history, the Khuon Than Dam was constructed during the Vietnam War to provide water for domestic use, irrigation, and agricultural production in Luc Ngan District and surrounding areas. The facility has since been utilized to support local socio-economic development. For film production, the expansive water surface, small islands, forested hills, and orchards provide multi-layered landscapes suitable for location shooting. This site is recommended for projects requiring natural settings, water features, and rural/midland aesthetics, particularly for wide and medium shots. Filming must comply with current local management regulations. Existing planning also mandates the protection and enhancement of the ecological landscape quality of Khuon Than Lake.
