Nhi Thanh Cave - Where mountain stone preserves the legacy of the past. Nhi Thanh Cave is a prominent scenic spot in Lang Son, part of the Nhi - Tam Thanh and To Thi Mountain - Mac Dynasty Citadel relic complex. The cave is situated within a limestone mountain, with the Ngoc Tuyen stream flowing through its interior, creating a unique landscape of cliffs, stalactites, and light-and-shadow patterns that shift with the terrain. Beyond its scenic value, Nhi Thanh Cave is associated with the historical figure Ngo Thi Si, who served as the Governor of Lang Son in the late 18th century. The cave walls still feature a system of 'ma nhai' (rock-carved) steles by Ngo Thi Si and many other scholars and poets who visited the Lang region. Near the cave entrance lies Tam Giao Pagoda, adding architectural and spiritual elements to the overall site. The cave interior offers various sections with different elevations, rock formations, and lighting conditions, facilitating diverse camera angles. The combination of flowing water, cliffs, stalactites, ancient steles, and religious architecture provides rich visual depth. Nhi Thanh Cave is suitable as a backdrop for historical dramas, period films, feature films, documentaries, music videos, or any scenes requiring an ancient, mystical atmosphere steeped in the cultural identity of the Lang region.
