Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum - A space preserving historical memory. Located on Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Dien Bien Phu City, Dien Bien Province, the Dien Bien Phu Victory Museum is a specialized cultural institution dedicated to the 1954 Dien Bien Phu Victory. Built and inaugurated in 2014, the museum features a modern architectural design inspired by the camouflage hat worn by soldiers, creating a distinct visual landmark within the urban landscape. The museum consists of one basement and one ground floor, with a permanent exhibition space of approximately 1,250 m² showcasing over 1,000 documents, artifacts, and photographs related to the Dien Bien Phu Campaign. A major highlight is the “Dien Bien Phu Campaign” panorama painting, spanning over 3,200 m², which recreates the key stages of the campaign through a combination of painting, sound, lighting, and architecture. From a visual perspective, the exterior architecture, exhibition spaces, historical artifacts, and the panorama painting allow for a wide range of shots, from panoramic views of the structure to symbolic close-ups. Given its historical significance and ability to visually recreate the 1954 battlefield, the location is suitable as a backdrop for historical films, war movies, documentaries, and works focusing on memory, people, and the historical shifts of Dien Bien Phu.
