About this location

Tran Long Hung Temple - The historical imprint of the Tran dynasty Tran Long Hung Temple is located in Tam Duong village, Long Hung commune, Hung Yen province. This is an important part of the Special National Monument complex comprising the tombs and temples of the Tran dynasty kings, associated with the origin and establishment of the Tran dynasty. The monument holds special historical and cultural value, helping preserve the legacy of a dynasty that played a crucial role in the nation's history. The temple space is built on ancient ruins, consisting of architectural components such as the ceremonial gate (nghi mon), main worship hall (Bai duong), rear sanctuary (Hau cung), left and right corridors (Ta vu, Huu vu), and the tomb area of the Tran kings. The structures are arranged along a traditional architectural axis, combining ceremonial spaces, inner sanctuaries, and green landscapes. This site is also associated with the Tran Hung Hung Temple Festival - a national intangible cultural heritage, held annually with numerous traditional rituals and cultural activities. With its historical value and distinctive spiritual architectural space, Tran Long Hung Temple is well-suited as a setting for historical films, period dramas, documentaries, cultural reports, and projects exploring themes of the Tran dynasty. Filming activities must be approved by the site management unit, ensuring the solemnity of the worship space without affecting the architecture, artifacts, and landscape of the monument.
