Do Temple - A historical space of the Ly Dynasty and Kinh Bac architecture. Do Temple, also known as Co Phap Dien or the Temple of the Eight Ly Emperors, is located in Tu Son Ward, Bac Ninh Province. It is a historical and cultural site associated with the Ly Dynasty's ancestral temple and serves as a place of worship for the eight kings of the Ly Dynasty. Established in the 11th century and designated as a Special National Monument in 2014, Do Temple holds outstanding value regarding the history of the Ly Dynasty and Kinh Bac culture. The complex includes various architectural structures such as the Square Pavilion (Phuong dinh), Front Ceremonial Hall (Tien te), Rear Sanctuary (Hau cung), Literary Pavilion (Van chi), Martial Pavilion (Vo chi), the Jade Well (gieng Ngoc), and a memorial house. It also features courtyards, worship spaces, and a semi-circular lake covering approximately 9,500 m², with a Water Pavilion (Thuy dinh) in the center. This traditional architectural system creates multi-layered spaces for filming historical, spiritual, and Vietnamese cultural scenes.
