About this location
Cuong Temple - A historical, cultural, and spiritual space in Nghe An Cuong Temple is a national historical-cultural and architectural art relic located on Mo Da Mountain, An Chau Commune, Nghe An Province. The site is associated with the worship of Thục Phán An Dương Vương, a figure linked to the Au Lac state. The temple space combines mountainous terrain with traditional architectural complexes, creating a setting with depth and distinct Vietnamese cultural characteristics. The temple was restored in 1864 during the reign of King Tu Duc. The complex includes the Upper Sanctuary, Middle Sanctuary, Lower Sanctuary, Left House, and Right House, featuring a wooden architectural system, tiled roofs, and traditional decorative motifs. The combination of ancient temple architecture, worship spaces, and mountainous terrain offers numerous camera angle options, from panoramic views to detailed architectural close-ups. With these characteristics, Cuong Temple is suitable as a backdrop for historical films, period dramas, cultural dramas, and works exploring Vietnamese mythical history, especially in scenes featuring temples, rituals, and traditional cultural spaces.
