The site is associated with the worship of Thục Phán An Dương Vương, a key figure linked to the Âu Lạc state. The temple grounds combine mountainous terrain with traditional architectural complexes, creating a deep background rich in Vietnamese cultural characteristics. The temple was restored in 1864 during the reign of King Tự Đức. The complex consists of the Upper Sanctuary, Middle Sanctuary, Lower Sanctuary, Left House, and Right House, featuring a wooden architectural system, tiled roofs, and traditional decorative motifs.
