Ho Dynasty Citadel - The Imperial Space of Tay Do Located in Vinh Loc District, Thanh Hoa Province, the Ho Dynasty Citadel was built in 1397 under the Ho Dynasty and served as the capital of Dai Ngu. In 2011, the site was inscribed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage. The complex includes the Inner Citadel, the La Citadel, and the Nam Giao Altar, set within a landscape of mountains, rice fields, and the Ma and Buoi river systems. The outstanding value of the Ho Dynasty Citadel lies in its wall system and gates, constructed primarily of massive limestone blocks, showcasing unique construction techniques and urban planning from the late 14th century. The large-scale stone citadel, combined with the surrounding natural and agricultural landscape, creates a setting with significant depth and historical character. The citadel gates, stone walls, and the spatial axis of the Inner Citadel can be effectively utilized for panoramic shots and camera angles that emphasize architectural scale. This location is suitable for historical dramas, period films, documentaries, and projects exploring themes of heritage, architecture, and Vietnamese history. Content compiled by: PTIT.
