Vinh Trang Pagoda
Nguyen Trung Truc Street, My Phong Ward, Dong Thap Province
About this location
Vinh Trang Pagoda – East-West fusion in one of Southern Vietnam's most prominent ancient temples Vinh Trang Pagoda impresses not through a singular architectural style, but through the harmonious blend of diverse cultural influences. The decorative panels, roof structures, and Tam Quan (Triple-Entrance) gates create a space with rich visual depth, while the spacious, tree-filled grounds isolate the complex from the bustling urban life outside. Built in the 19th century and extensively restored in 1849, the architecture combines Asian and European elements; the main hall features forms reminiscent of a stupa, while the Tam Quan gate is elaborately decorated with broken pottery and ceramic fragments. This location is well-suited for cultural, spiritual, historical films, documentaries, music videos (MVs), and scenes requiring large-scale Buddhist architectural backdrops.
