About this location
Dai Giac Ancient Pagoda - Dong Nai Dai Giac Co Tu, located on Cu Lao Pho (Bien Hoa, Dong Nai), is an ancient pagoda built in 1665 and recognized as a National Historical and Artistic Relic in 1990, bearing strong impressions of the pioneering era of land reclamation and the Nguyen Dynasty. Set in a 3,000m² campus facing the Dong Nai River, the location features a traditional 'three-character' (tam) architectural layout, soaring round pillars, ancient horizontal lacquered boards (hoanh phi), jackfruit-wood Buddha statues offered by King Gia Long, and an ancient stupa garden, creating a serene and nostalgic spiritual atmosphere. This location is highly suitable for historical films, period dramas, semi-historical works, cultural-artistic documentaries, or film projects requiring a solemn Buddhist architectural space by the water.
