Location rules

• Ensure absolute fire safety: Completely ban the use of prop smoke, fire, and flammable/explosive materials inside the market premises (the market suffered a historic fire in 1994, making this regulation extremely strict).
• Do not obstruct main walkways or disrupt the wholesale business activities of local vendors.
• Obtain permission from the Market Management Board before bringing professional filming equipment (large cameras, tripods, lighting fixtures) inside.
• Strictly prohibited content: disclosing state secrets, anti-state propaganda, distorting history, violating sovereignty, undermining national unity, and insulting historical figures or national heroes. (Article 9, Cinema Law)
• Pay special attention when filming in Zone I protection areas of Special National Monuments (Thang Long Imperial Citadel, Temple of Literature), the Ba Đình political center area (Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, National Assembly Building), and military, security, and defense areas in accordance with specialized management regulations.
• International film crews are required to use film production services provided by a Vietnamese film enterprise.
